Who? Join anthropology professor
Jessica
Amato and Spanish professor Maria
Villagomez on an exciting, adventurous, and educational exploration
of anthropology and Spanish language in Playa del Carmen Mexico!
What?
Students can earn three units of anthropology OR Spanish credits through
this program, and may fulfill some of their multicultural studies
and/or social sciences requirements.
When?
June 15-July 8, 2009!
How
Much? Price depends on if you want to enroll in anthropology or if you want to enroll in Spanish:
- $2280 for Anthropology
- $2495 for Spanish
- Both prices include homestay, most meals, all excursions, and airfare!)
Where? Playa del Carmen is part of Mexico's "Riviera Maya," a
bustling beach town on the shore of the turqoise Caribbean Sea,
in the state of Quintana Roo. You will live with Mexican families
and travel to sites of archaeological and cultural significance
in this beautiful state as well as its neighbor, the state of Yucatan.
